And then there were 2. Days, that is! At this time on Friday, I will be boarding my plane to London. The weather right now looks so-so; I am crossing my fingers that all goes well and that we leave on time without any issues. I'll be honest and say that I'm not a fan of flying in the winter in general, and certainly not when it is snowing or sleeting, but the show must go on, I suppose. My hope is that once we are safely/smoothly up in the air, I'll settle back into my slightly more comfy/upgraded seat and be able to sleep. I got very little sleep on my way to Ireland - that was mostly due to the two passengers sitting behind me, but it was also quite difficult to get comfortable in a basic coach seat. Here's hoping that this flight will allow me at least 3 or 4 hours of some shut-eye!
As of this moment, I am 3/4 done with my packing. Yes, I'm a pack-ahead kind of person. I hate leaving things until the last minute, so I tend to be anal about getting things in order for any trip. That reminds me that I need to get out my gallon-size plastic baggies for storing my ticket stubs, postcards, brochures, etc. I label them with dates, then drop in all that free-floating stuff so that I can keep track of it in some kind of order. Makes it much easier to organize for scrapbooking, too! :)
I was also able to get one of things on my personal to-do list done today: a haircut. I wasn't sure how short I wanted to go, but I ended up having 2.5 inches cut off of my hair! The ends were quite grown out and broken (I straighten my hair several times per week), and my hair is so thin that when it gets really long, it doesn't look the greatest without a lot of work. So, I decided to go shorter than I normally would, simply for ease and helping it to grow back in better shape. I also don't plan on taking any fancy hair tools with me on this trip, as I want to be able to take a shower and pretty much get going on the day to make the most of my time. So, a comb and a little product is about all that's going to happen!

I hope you have a fantastic trip! I haven't been online much these past several days, so I missed your posts until just a few minutes ago.
